"Kids story time" on Thursdays from 10 - 11am. Children 0-6 and up are welcome, and should be accompanied by a parent. We will be reading from book relating to the theme of the month. Januarys theme was "Dr. Seuss" . There are also theme related crafts.
You can now put books on hold from your home computers using the library's CLAN system. Simply register a password with the librarian and then log onto www.clan.lib.nv.us/polars .
From there you can search for titles, check availability, and place books on hold.
We have launched a Youth Outreach Program: an incentive program based on a number of points for every book read, which can be redeemed for prizes.
Ask the librarian about our Birthday Club for young patrons.
